Worthington Estates Elementary PTA raises money to provide programs & events that benefit all our students. The PTA also helps fund teacher start up money and teacher grants for teachers who need some assistance funding an idea or classroom initiative. For example, the PTA has funded elmo cameras (think the “new” version of the overhead projector), a 3D printer, gaga ball pits (wood structures “ball pits” on the playground), updated gym equipment, library resources, leveled reading books, etc.
Worthington Estates primary Fundraiser each year is the Walk-a-thon, which is held in mid-September. This a low overhead fundraiser in which the majority of the money raised goes directly to funding needs and initiatives at WES.
In addition, the WES PTA works to provide other passive fundraising opportunities that you can choose how many or much you participate. Every little bit HELPS!

Box Tops for Education
Clip and send Boxtops for Education with your student or place them in the receptacle in the front office when you visit. Each Box Top earns the PTA a $.10 donation. Box Tops is an easy way for you to get involved in your child’s education. By purchasing Box Tops products, clipping the coupons and sending them into WES, we earn cash that can be used to buy things for our classrooms. You can find Box Tops on thousands of your favorite products, from Big G® cereals, Avery® office supplies, Hanes® T-shirts and Boise® printer paper.
